Dr. Ryan Bygness

Combining his clinical approach with a passion for people, Dr. Ryan Bygness aims to exceed the expectations of his patients during every visit. During his undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa, he worked part-time at the College of Dentistry. Learning much about the field from various professionals, professors, and dental experts, he decided to consider dentistry as a possible career choice. Taking the Dental Aptitude Test, he scored well and was accepted into his school’s program.

Graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, he went on to obtain his certificate in orthodontics in 2013 from the American Orthodontic Society. Since then, he has completed more than 400 hours of continuing education courses solely focusing on orthodontics. By 2015, he earned his dental implant certificate from the Spear Dental Institute in Scottsdale, AZ.

Although Dr. Bygness can assist a patient with tooth loss by placing dental implants, he prefers orthodontic treatment and the opportunities it presents in helping individuals achieve healthier, straighter smiles.
